Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, is a mosque which has its own history sheet, which is now the State Mosque is located in the heart of the Aceh province. Baiturrahman Grand Mosque is one of the grandest mosques in Southeast Asia. Baiturrahman mosque occupies an area of approximately four acres of this beautiful and unique architecture, having seven domes, four towers and one tower holding. International Airport Sultan Iskandar Muda, better known as Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport (IATA: BTJ, ICAO: WITT) is an airport serving the city of Banda Aceh and its surroundings, which is located in the subdistrict of Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar, Aceh province, Indonesia . The airport is managed by PT Angkasa Pura II, to serve domestic and international routes. Now there are two international flights, namely Air Asia and Firefly to Kuala Lumpur to Penang. The airport has also been used as a medicine delivery basis after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, which is fro from various regions of the world, to refugees who are isolated in various areas hit by the Tsunami in Aceh. After the Tsunami stricken on December 26, 2004, the airport has been renovated and has a 3,000 meter runway that can accommodate wide-bodied aircraft. On October 9, 2011 a Boeing 747-400 succeeded in taking off and landing, which proves that this airport could be used as a transit point for international airlines.
